"Don’t carry around with you two weights, one heavy and the other light, and don’t keep two measures at hand, one large and the other small. Use only one weight, a true and honest weight, and one measure, a true and honest measure, so that you will live a long time on the land that God, your God, is giving you. Dishonest weights and measures are an abomination to God, your God—all this corruption in business deals!"
In a commercial ecosystem built on shifting values and dishonest balances, MOKAN Christian Chamber of Commerce stands as a covenant network. We believe that true legacy, divine favor, and marketplace transformation begin with absolute transparency and uncompromised integrity in every business deal.

MOKAN began with a conviction about how Christian business owners can serve one another and set a trustworthy standard for the marketplace.
There is an old adage in the chamber world: if you’ve seen one chamber, you’ve seen one. So what makes MOKAN different, and why should you join? A chamber of commerce is an organization of businesses seeking to further their collective interests while advancing their community. Our community happens to be the followers of Christ.
I personally lost thousands of dollars at the hands of multiple Christian businesses who, after acknowledging the loss, refused to make things right. Their attitude suggested: sorry for your loss, good luck with that, hope things work out for you. As business owners and consumers ourselves, we are all familiar with the common tactics employed by certain industries. Too often, Christian business owners tend to separate the faith they profess from the way they do business, telling themselves, “this is just the way things are done in this industry.” We’re here to help Christians understand that there is a biblical standard — one that supersedes any industry standard — that God will hold them accountable to. As Christians, our job is to set the standard for our respective industries instead of following the lead of others. We should be the people the whole world wants to do business with.
“We should be the people the whole world wants to do business with.”
— Ivan Griffin, Founder.
Imagine what it would do for our bottom line if the reputation of Christian-owned businesses was such that bearing the label “Christian Owned Business” garnered such enthusiasm that we became the preferred merchants of our target market. Imagine what it would do for the Kingdom if everyone said, “that’s who I want to do business with.”
This is Kingdom Commerce.
Making money is a good thing. Spurring Christian businesses to grow and reach their full potential is integral to our mission. We aim to help small businesses maximize profits without compromising Biblical, Christian values. The more our businesses prosper, the more we can do for the Kingdom.
For many business owners, things seem to be working just fine — but they are often unaware of the things they could be doing better, or the amount of money they are leaving on the table. Most never thought they had a reason to join a chamber, but there is no business that couldn’t benefit financially, and otherwise, from being part of MOKAN.
